Sbs 6 74 W

Does anyone have any knowledge concerning the replacement for this Bird? It seems like it's been there for ever and quite frankly the signal for must part sucks. I'm hoping that since Galaxy 4R is heading East maybe just maybe it will take SBS 6 place.

Isn't 74 the sat with ONN? If so it comes in like gang busters. High 80's at the least

Sbs 6

I'm happy for you. I wish I could say the same thing. Low 40s for me and some time nada. I get better reception on the news feeds than I do ONN. Anyways, I'm just curious to know whether or not that would be a is possibility.

no. G4 is going to retire soon. Its about ready to run out of fuel at the end of the year. Thats why G16 is there now

Horizons 2 will be replacing SBS6 in early 07

And you're right about ONN. Some days it comes in at 90 but some nights its almost zip. Last night was 30

Thank you for the input Iceberg. Oh, by the way I hooked up that DiSeqc switch last night and after tinkering with it I finally got it to work . I know you told me to make sure I selected the right port for the right Lnb but for awhile it was touch and go. I thought I would have to send you guys an email asking for help. AMC 1 at 103 W is a coming in perfectly, thanks again.
