Jose47 is on a distinguished road
Exclamation 1.2 C/KU offset dish

Hi,

Can someone provide me with the pros and cons for this system? I have seen the adds on the internet but I'm not sure it is a cam or not. It sure would be nice specially for people like me that can't have a full size dish.

Thanks,

Jose

Ku on this dish is no problem at all. C band results greatly vary. Sat footprint is the major factor although I can not comment personally as to picture quality on a dish that small. As I understand it some signals are being received and some are not. I would not expect to receive any of the really good channels with this type of configuration. This being HBO or any of the movie channels but then again the C/Ku lnbf is not compatable with a 4DTV receiver anyway.
