Lightbulb Can two LNB's be mounted on 30" dish?

I'm located on a side of a hill and only be able to receive satellites from 110 and higher. From what I see channel wise, I think I only would want to aim a 30" dish at 123 and 129 degrees. What I'd be aiming for is Intelsat America @ 129 for White Springs TV and Galaxy 10R @ 123 for RTN, WB, ABC & Fox. Both I believe are linear.

For only two birds the 30" motorized system seems overkill. So if I bought a larger size than 30", say the 36" or maybe even bigger. Could I mount two linear LNB's side by side and pick up the two birds at 123 & 129, having the dish centered between them? Or directly at one and offset to one side for the other? Does someone make a bracket to do that, or would I need to fab one up myself? If so, maybe the bracket could be bent 6 degrees so both linears are correctly polarizied. And I'm thinking the bigger 36" size would help compensate for any signal lost from being slightly out of the focus spot.

I already have a 18x24 elliptical aimed at 110 & 119 and would keep it as is. The elliptical is something like what I'm thinking, except those birds are 9 degrees apart and these two only 6 degrees. So maybe the two lnb's could not fit side by side.

Yes, that is the correct method. You mount one LNB in the supplied holder, align the dish for one satellite; then side-mount the second LNB to the main LNB. For 6 degrees it should be no problem. I mount two LNBs for IA5 and AMC4 all the time and it works great. Go for as big a dish as you can get - I prefer a 90 cm at least. Makes it way easier to find signal for the second LNB. Play around with the position of the second LNB while watching you signal meter, then use plastic tie-wraps and silicone caulking to secure the LNBs together. Connect them with a DiSEqC switch.
