100' + connection

I need to mount my dish with a cable exceeding the 100' recommendation. Is this possible with a signal booster? I tried without and the motor has no response. Otherwise I have virtually no line of sight to a good chunk of the satellites. My only other option is mount on the roof, and I'm avoiding that at all costs to simplify my setup time...Thanks

shouldnt need a booster. One of my motorized is about 125 feet or so with no issues.

Them amplifiers can make the signal worse.

Make sure you use high quality cable and conenctors (like the PPC or Paladine compression connectors). Makes a lot of difference. Also, try to avoid splitting the coxial or using too many switches.

you may also try rg11 cable it should take care of the extra distance.
