cable question

I am a total newbie, so please forgive me if this is a silly question.

What is the difference between RG6 and RG6U cable?
Is one better, and if so, which one and why?
Thanks, Max

I think it's the way different companies list their products. most inportant is the sheilding and center conducter material.

Thanks rainman.

I am looking to buy cables for component video ( 3 cables ). One place is saying they use RG6 which is better than RG59 that everyone else uses.

When trying to research RG6 I also found references to RG6U so I was wondering what the dif was.

Maybe I should have just asked, what is the best cable to use for component video cables? They need to be 35 feet long if that makes any difference.
