For FTA reception (most channels) you will need a minimum of a 30" dish for most areas in North America.

You can get all of the FTA music channels on Echostar 110 or 119. Also, in some parts of the USA (SOUTHERN) you can get the FTA channels on Galaxy 10R (123W) with a standard LNBF.

Other than that you will need a bigger dish like Kat said. 8)
