SatCruiser 9000 First Time Installation tips needed

Hello:

I have a SatCruiser 9000 with Moteck SG-2100 HH motor, and 30" dish with KU LNBF.

I am in Virigina, and my Lat is 38.9, Long is 77.

I have my dish pointing at at true south 190 (180 + 10).

Based on this setting, I should be pointing to AMC5 exactly (at 79)

My problem is that while I have a good signal, quality for 11742 is 0. This is where some FTA programs are. So...

a) any suggestions?
b) Is there any install guide/tips for a SatCruiser 9000?

Thanx.

-- Sam

try a few degrees to the east, around 193 south. dont be afraid to move the dish around a little. the calculations get you close but are not precise for your exact location.

otherwise the transponder is good and you are looking at the quality meter which is exactly what you should be doing.
