why some channels not watchable on FTA?

I found some channels on FTA (IA5) not watchable, why they are not free on FTA satellite? How can we watch them?

All of IA-5's channels are not FTA, unfortunatley. You will have to subscribe to Globecast or whatever other providers there are now to be able to decode them.

well.. i just did blind scan and search and I counted exactly 105 FTA channels.. no more. There are two channels that won't appear if you do a fta search but they are really fta. this is on tp 12122 H.

Channels on IA5

I think this depend how good your dish and LNBF as not all TPs are same strong.
I use 39" dish and I got 841-666=175 channels after I scaned all TPs (5H and 10V) I got on my receiver from IA5. I fell at least 80%+ of channels are free.
