Well, I 've never seen a Goldsat receiver but all receivers are fairly similar in setup. Generally what you must do is:
1) select your satellite; usually in MENU under
INSTALLATION submenu SATELLITE EDIT.
2) select the type of LNB you have; universal (10,600 MHz) or standard (10,750); this should be indicated on the LNB itself.
3) make sure the transponder list in the receiver is current; compare to
www.lyngsat.com and ADD or EDIT TRANSPONDERS accordingly. You must add or edit three things: frequency, polarity and symbol rate. These are given in the lyngsat charts.
4) do a SCAN SATELLITE on the receiver and the channels should come back if your dish hasn't moved.
