c band 6' dish pansat fta

I bought one of the 6’ from sadoun and I have 2 questions 1 is this to small for C band I have 13 k lnbf digital and a Pansat 2500 fta receiver I can’t get a lock on satellites, 2. what setting of lnb should set the receiver to I think I have 3 choices for c band, I could always use this dish for Ku

What satellites/transpnders are you tring to get a lock on? Is scalar ring on your LNBF set to the correct f/D setting?

LNB setting should be single 5150 (or you can use standard 5150). 6' is borderline minimum for c-band. You should be able to get a good signal on stronger transpondes, but there might be some interference from adjecent satellites.

i Was able to see some chanels thanks I still have one question my c lnbf has
degree numbers on it I live in Jersey how will the lnbf shoul go in the ring the numbers that have are 30-0-30 wi belive that the mark for 0 should go up, this lnfb did not came with any instructions

I have a 5'ft dish/is it to small?

Hello i am In Chicago,IL.Someone gave me a 5'ft dish.I am tring to set up fo c/ku.I have the arm on it and I have the coroto to go on it. please help what my next move? Setting the scalar ring how far from the dish? Its a paraclipe dish.i seen somewhere someone was using a 4'ft dish.The feed sclar ring in the center of the dish. Thanks please help
