    Potential Customer with questions

Hi. I am interested in your satellite systems so I can receive FTA signals on a variety of satellites such as MKTV and Pink on GalaxyXR. Therefore I assume I need one of the motorized HH products, preferably with the Automatic Locator. But I have a question about the motorization. Is it true that every satellite has its own azimuth, elevation, AND polarization or only azimuth needs to be changed? If I have a motorized dish will it be able to turn all three depending on what satellite I chose for best reception?

True, each satellite has its own Azimuth, Elevation, and Polarization.

The HH motor will control all of that for you. The LNBF will be straight when you set the motor/dish to TRUE south. When the dish moves East/West, the LNBF will be tilted accordingly.

Excellent, sounds great. A few more questions. I pretty much calculated the Dish Elevation and the Stab motor elevation for my area:

    Lat: 40.56 , Long: 74.31

Using your formula I got 23.69 for Dish Elevation and 40.59 for motor mount. Is this correct? And what about the offset angle for your 90 cm dish does that number have to do with the final elevation setting?

Those numbers seem correct. Good job.

No need to worry about the offset angle for the dish.

Ok .. there is one last thing holding me back to getting the dish. My area doesn't look too promising towards the southern sky. There is a lot of trees and little open area. Up top my roof it isn't bad but then there is two trees in the way. Are these signals very sensitive? Will I be able to get an enjoyable picture and a variety of satellites? Also what about the elevation? Lets say I am standing outside facing south and anything under 45 degrees is blocked straight toward the sky. Can I have some insight?
