I can't be the only person with this problem, but my searches aren't turning up anything. If this is a dumb question that's been asked a million times, I apologize. Pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated...
MY PROBLEM:
I'm using a
Dish 500 satellite (Dish Network), a Dish Pro 301.013 receiver and a DishPro twin LNB. I'm in southern Georgia, so my key settings are Azimuth 232, Elevation 40, Skew 131.
At these settings, I get nothing. It's only when I knock the elevation to ~60 that I pick up the 110 satellite. But there's no sign of the 119. I've drug my elevation and azimuth all over the place, and still nothing. I can get the 110 strength up to almost the peak (125), but my system always say "Wrong Sat" when I try to get 119. My coax is plugged into the 119 side (as instructed in the book), but even if I switch it, there's no difference. I even tried a second LNB, and it's giving me the same results.
My view of the sky is completely clear, and I've run "Check Switch" on every setup I've tried (Twin LNB & Dual LNB, Coax tried in both sides). No luck. I can bring in the 110 channels, but there's no sign of the 119 satellite.
Any suggestions??
