No one answers my Questions -- Please help

Hi,

I would like to have G13/H1 and AMC3 channels. Will the following hardwares (M-1 Motorized Choice set) work for me? I'm in Michigan.

Fortec Start Lifetime Ultra 2005 receiver
SM3D12 HH Mount Motor
31" Fortec Start FS80P Dish
FDRTEC Star FSKU-V ( single Ditigal Universal KU 0.4 DB LNBF)

Do I have to buy extra wires to hook them up?

Thanks a lot,

Jenny

Well, the actual answer is "maybe".
All the equipment you specify will work when installed correctly.
The "iffy" part comes in whether you have a good "view" or sight from the dish to the Sats you wish to view.

Do this - figure out where you might want your dish to be. It will need to be mounted to a post or pole, perfectly straight vertically (up and down).
Look to your south. Point your arm straight out south, then lift it up about 45 degrees (halfway up). Is there anything in the way (trees?).
Move your arm to the left, and right, dropping about halfway from 45 degrees to about 30 degrees, then back over to the right, up to 45 facing south, and drop as you move your arm to the right. This approximates where the Sat's are in the sky, which you will need to see.
(G10R will be on your right side for this exercise).

If you have a clear view, with no obstructions you should be OK.

As far as "extra wires", very often Sadoun will offer "free gift" upon system purchase. In fact, it shows still as "free gift":

This kit has all the stuff you need, wires, compass, etc for the install.
You *might* need 1 more short piece of RG6 coax to connect motor to LNB, you can get that at RadioShack for cheap (3 foot length) with ends already on it.

Good luck.
