Lifetime Ultra cannot input Lat & Long in USALS?

Hello all: I have a Fortec Lifetime Ultra and Fortecstar Dish and setting up HH90 motor. I enter into Menu >Antenna Setup. Choose USALS and press OK. For Lat and Long value input, it stays at zero and cannot be changed with the remote. My thinking is the unit is not really USALS compatible although the seal on the receiver and on the motor and says it is. Have I omitted something? Diseqc 1.2 seems to work okay. Thanks for any help or response. Bill in Stuart Florida

Both motor and the receiver are USALS compatible.

YOu should be able to type in the number for you longitude using numbers on the remote and then click once ot the right to change from E to W. Same for latitude. Then you clikc store and it should stay stored for all the satellites (you don't have to re enter it every time you select a new satellite).

If yoiur unit cannot do this either something is wrong with your unit or with your remote maybe!? Do number key work when you try to swith channels? Just wondering.

What version of firmware do you have? Not that there were any problems with this in previous versions, but maybe loading the latest firmware might solve the problem. Keep in mind that if you reload the fimware yourself you void your warranty (although I am not sure if Sadoun accepts returns if you tried reloading software).

Hope you get it working.
