:cry: I keep reading about these FTA receivers can someone explain to me what it is I am very curios about it.I have directv do I need more then just one of those recv.

These are satellite receivers that receive satellite channels that are NOT scrambled. In otherwords, free channels. Most of whats available here in N. America are international channels. DirecTv needs its own receiver and the channels are scrambled. DishNetwork uses the same stream as FTA channels, which is DVB, but still needs its own receiver and subscription. DirecTV does not use DVB but something simliar to it.
