Receiving multiple satellites? motor?

Ok my FTA receiver is on its way and I am really excited . I want to be able to receive multiple satellites. My receiver is DiSEqC capable I am wondering what is better, hooking up multiple dishes and using a DiSEqC switch or buying a motor to move the dish?
From what I understand the motor will allow the dish to move from side to side will That allow me to receive multiple satellites?

Well, you could do the math and see what could be more affordable for you.

Multiple dishes mean, extra LNBFs, Switches, and Wires.
Number of satellites is limited to the number of dishes hooked up
Fast channel switching between satellites

Motorized dish, the only extra cost is the motor.
Number of satellites is quite a few in the USA. The Ku band satellites are more than 20 (see www.lyngsat.com)
Slower channel switching between satellites since the motor needs to move the dish to the desired satellite.
