Take a look here:
http://www.sadoun.com/Sat/Channels/Channels.htm

Note the satellite at the ending of the title (example T5)

If the desirered channels are all grouped on one satellite, you can get a receiver, dish and point it to the one sattelite for reception.
If the channels are on more than one satellite, you'll need a rotator (positioning motor) to move the satelitte along the Satellite belt (arc across the sky) to pickup other satellites.

I'm not sure where you are, but in the US you must have a clear view approx 30-40 degrees up from level, to the south east and to the south west. Stand in your yard facing directly south. Look up at 35 degree angle, and to the left and right. Need clear view, no trees, buildings, etc in order to have sucess.

Good luck. Report back how you make out.

This site has decent selection of stuff:

I don't have any experience with the fixed, multi-LNB dishes like the T55 or the T90.
They are good for locations where you can aim it in a fixed direction, and catches the sats you want. The other plus is that you could potentially have mulitple output LNB's on it and feed more than 1 tv and they can watch different sats at the same time. The issues are the sats must be (relateivly) close together on the arc, the dish is expensive, and you'll need multiple LNB's. For instance, I don't think it would catch G10R and AMC3 at the same time (I could be wrong on this, though...)

Now, the other way is a 30 or 36" round dish that you attach to a postioner. With this, you move from sat to sat to watch what you want.
That seems to be popular around this forum.

They can be tricky to setup, but once it's set they work pretty good.

Here's a link to a complete ready to install system with everything you need (take a look at System #7):

You won't need the motor, but I am not sure if T55 is big enough for reception of Telstar 5.
