ADTH 8009IR for Filipino Channel. Can it be used FTA?

I just bought a TFC package for watching the filipino channel and it came with an ADTH 8009IR receiver. Wanted to find out if this can be used for FTA channels as well. Minimal documentation in the box or interent.
