advice for a PCI sat card please

I have been looking around for a satellite reciever card for my computer and I am a bit lost. Im sure given a few months I could eventually find a good one. Can you advise me as to what would be a good card.

I live in England, Kent.
I am interested in FTA but I also was thinking of pay to view so I am wondering if I should get a card that has the option for a card to be plugged in.

I dont want to use a big dish ony upto 36" I think

Twinhan do an interesting card as do Pinnacle but as I said im confused and need some guidance.

what might be a good option please

Re: advice for a PCI sat card please

1. If you can't put up a 30 or 36", then you won't get much FTA channels. With a DirectTV/DishNetwork, 99% of them are encrypteed.
2. Only few satellite provider allowed subscribers to use your ownhardware (receiver or card with smartcard). One provider I know is Globecast.
3. You can't subscibe to DishNEtwork with any receiver/DVB card.
If you plan to use a DVB card with DirectTV/DishNetwork dish, you will get few FTA channels and all the audio channels from DishNetwork.
Good luck

I can use a 30 i think that means 30 inch, yes.

I hear there are a few FTA channels over Euroupe so im very keen to get something set up. Im wondering if I should buy the Twinhan visionplus sat-CI (i think I got that right)
or a Hauppauge WinTV-Nexus_s one that I have seen.

Problem I see only now is I dont want to limit myself to just FTA. Being a novice I am a little lost( every day I learn a little more which helps), I could sure do with a nudge in the right direction with regard to buying the card for my PC.

Cheers
