hi all, im using pansat2500a with 33" dish with fortec universal lnbf can someone please help me on how to get channels from telstar5 and after dark channels.
i did get 100% signal but no quality.
OK; you are on the wrong bird. Telstar 5 is at 97 degrees west. First start by doing a little reading on the forums. Also check out the angle calculator on the Sadoun website -- this will give you the azimuth (compass setting) and elevation for your dish. Your receiver will need to be set at 10,600 MHz for the universal LNB you have.
error on typing on my part, it should have been 97 degree, also on some of the post that i read, it said 101 degree so which one is right
97 or 101. and when i use the calculation software from saduon it said i need to point my dish to eval 44.4 azimuth 132.... and lnbf -28.2
and that was what i did but no quality, just good signal only (i got 90%)
