What do I need & how does it work?

I am completely new to this type of TV viewing so I need a LOT of help. I would appreciate answers to my questions more than you can imagine. Anyone out there to help me?

I have a House and an RV. I want a system that will mainly be used on my house but that, if I want, I can take with me in my RV.

I need a set up for just one television.

I need it to be inexpensive and I don't want to sign an agreement for a year or two. I prefer to buy my equipment and pay per month for what I want.

Do the DishTV prices I see here on equipment mean I own the devices?

For instance, the FlexTV Satellite System says it's $248.00. Does that include the cost of the equipment or is the equipment extra on top of the $248.00? So, in essence, I am wondering what I will pay at the time I order the equipment, the services and a monthly plan for everything. As an example, if I get the minimum programming for $19.99 how much would I be looking at if I get the $248.00 system and one TV hook up?

Do I need a motorized unit?

What about HD? How important is it to take HD into consideration since I don't care whether I have it or not but I understand sooner or later everything is going to be HD?

Thanks a million for your help! I really truly appreciate it!

The price includes the equipment. Since you will get the FlexTV offer, there is no contract and long term commitment. The programming starts at around $45 per month. FlexTV does not qualify for lower discounts since there is no contract.

No need for a motorized system. You can get a tripod and extra dish for your RV. Or you can get the tailgater which works great with a 211K HD receiver.
