new to install biz,
have an accutrac22, battery life seems to be negligible. talked to co. phone rep said this is not uncommon. batch problems? ni-cad battery memory issues? any advice?

If you want to improve the meter performance, take your meter to a battery shop that specializes in batteries and get your self a decent battery that will hold the charge and give you excellent performance. The batteries that come with these meters are not reliable for long term operations. You could keep the new battery in the meter and use the old battery as an extra spare.
