    Help with switches

    Hi everyone,

Another newbie here with a question on switches.

I have a motorized dish with a HH90 motor, Invacom Quad LNB and two Sonicview 360 Elite receivers. I have just been looking at the cable diagram for setting up the invacom with two receivers. My question is, where do I connect the 2-way DiSEqC switches (before or after the motor) and also which cable from the LNB do I use to run the motor? If someone would show me the cabling for this setup it would be appreciated.

That's the diagram I looked at, need to know if the switches go in the house or at the dish end?

    How I'd setup it up:

    receiver1 - |wall| - motor - switch < L & C
    receiver2 - |wall| - switch < L & C

    receiver1 controls the motor.
receiver2 is stuck looking at whatever position receiver1 is looking at but can watch a completely different polarity.

receiver1's switch has to be outside unless you want to loop back inside (running lots of extra coax and some extra holes).

receiver2's switch can be inside but would use extra coax and holes.
