Problems USALS at 15W
I have a Fortec Star Dynamic receiver, Sadoun SG-280 motor, Fortec 90cm dish all hooked up to receive several satellites. The system works very well except when I try to USALS to point the dish to Telestar at 15W. Even though the screen says "Moving to Satellite Position", the motor does not move. I have had this problem with another exact same system. Has anyone had similar problems, and have you figured out a solution?
One thing I have tried is to switch to DiSeQC and use the buttons on the motor to turn the dish until I find a Telestar signal (it is around #65 on the motor protractor scale) and then save that position. Then, using the remote I move the dish in small increments via the receiver until the signal peaks. However, if I move it too many times using this method the motor then moves to the extreme East position! Thanks for your input. |

Reason why it scans the same channels as 30W is because the dish did not move, but the receiver thinks it moved.
Yes, I also have had problems with the motor moving to the extreme East. Man I was close to adjusting it with a small sledge hammer. Read my other posts today for more info. |
