Perhaps the dish got bumped out of alignment by the wind or a storm. Is this a motorized system or is it a fixed dish?
My COUSIN HAVE GIVEN ME AND INSTALLED FORTEC STAR LIFETIME CLASSIC NA AND IT WORKED GOOD FOR 2 YEARS BUT THIS ONE DAY IT MAKES FUNNY NOISE AND IT SOME TIMES HAVE PICTURES BUT THAT DAY WAS A SUNNY DAY WITH NO RAIN NOR WIND.SO I THOUGHT IT WAS THE SATELITE ISSUE SO I RE-ADJUST IT THEN NOW ITS BLANK WITH NO PICTURES NOR SOUND...............IT WILL ONLY PICK UP 33% OF A SIGNAL...I THINK I HAD CLICKED SOME THING WRONG AND IT LOCKED UP THE CHANNELS BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT I HAD CLICKED SO PLEASE HELP ME.I LIVE AT NEW YORK BUT WANT TO HAVE THAILAND FREE AIR CHANNELS,PLEASE HELP ME AND SOLVE MY ISSUES BECAUSE MY MOM NEEDS TO WATCH IT AGAIN,THANKS...

this is a fixed dish.it wasnt bumped nothing until i went and re-adjust it then its all blank.i think its the LNF ANTENNA or the locking remote channels that i had clicked.Originally Posted by Vitruvius
try doing a master reset on the receiver and then rescan in the channels.
