C and Ku band

Do I need separated equipment for C and Ku band or One set can receive both signal?

Just read in the forum:

the stuff with "C" needs a bigger dish to get (6 to 8 foot).
The stuff with "Ku" needs a 30 to 36" dish to get.

that means we usually can only get the ku band because most of people will not install a 6-8 foot dish?

Anybody know is there any Chinese FTA channel in C-band and availble in Boston MA?

you can receive both C and Ku from 1 dish.will need a c/ku lnbf like the bsc-621.

You can use the same receiver, but you have to manually switch it going between Ku and C band. I am not aware of any chinese channels on C-band. If you live in Boston, you should get a 90 to 100 cm dish with a motor and forget about C-band.
