Sun Spot Activity

This is likely a dumb question but I am new at this hobby and have noticed that on T5 there are several channels either fading in/out or not usable
at all. I have broadband ISP an they advised their users of possible
outages during the period of 03/06 till 03- 15 due to high levels of Sun Spot activities. Any input on this????? Cbosarge
