DiSEqC and tone/voltage switches together?

I'm looking to expand my LNB count. Currently I use a tone/voltage (DirecTV) switch but I'd like to add one more LNB and was thinking a DiSEqC 2x1 between the tuner and the tone switch might work.

Does anyone know if a typical DiSEqC will pass tone, and if so, will it get confused by tone and switch when it's not supposed to? I know DiSEqC switches will switch on a tone-burst, but I'm not aware of them switching on a solid tone.

Yes, a DiSEqC switch will pass 22KHz tone just fine.
