I just bought the DG280 motor. I think it must be defective. It has about 3-4 degrees of play in the motor arm: meaning, if I am holding he motor in my and and have it on zero degrees, I can move the arm back and forth approximately 4 degrees. I am replacing a 2100 and it does not have any movement. This arm movement is causing my signal quality to vary. Is this normal for this motor?
Don't have the 280 but do have the 240 and they seem to be the same design and my motor does not have any play. have you tried adjusting the back lash these motors do have adjustment for that.
