Hey Sadoun ??

The coax posts on my SG2100 motor came loose. I need a narrow socket to slip over the coax post to tighten the nuts, do you sell one?

Exclamation

I couldn't find one that thin to fit in the hole,so I backed it off (nut) a little and with a small wire, put a dab of Locktite on the threads below the nut. Then I used a thin bladed Screw Driver and spun the nut down as tight as I could get it ! That was last year and they haven't loosened up anymore since !

I use the screwdriver method. Whatever method you use, do NOT use any amount of force/torque when tightening the nut. I know of several people who have busted sg2100's because they tried to tighten that nut or the cable a little too tightly (even hand tightening) and busted the connectors off inside the motor.

No Grinder......................

My Arm and Hand got sore trying to remove the excess metal from around the outside diameter of the socket! I guess I'll have to see if the neighbor will let me use his sidewalk to try and rub some more off it ? Wore too many divots in my sidewalk !!

Ahh...hell with it....the Screwdriver Method worked just fine !!
