comment on DG 240

I think that any of those would be fine. I have the DG240, it looks a little bit slow to me, otherwise so far so good.

Sg2100

I have a SG2100 for almost 18 months now and just started to have issues. Satellite is stuck at the extreme east and would move to and from no more than five inches West. I have delte the limits and tried everything and iI am ready to replace it, unless I get some help to fix it

Both are good motors. I like the Sadoun PowerTech motors better overall (higher quality and lower defect rate per 1000). The DG240 has a rotation resolution of 0.1 degree. The SG2100 has a 0.3 degrees. The lower the resolution number (in degrees) the more accurate the motor landing on the satellite

can you use a 36 in. actuator where a 24 in was on dish. i have 10 foot dish.

Yes you can, but you will have to watch the limits.
