invacom quad polar lnb

i am setting up a fta satellite system using a viewsat ultra receiver,invacom quad polar lnb, and digipower sg2100 motor. the lnb has 4 outputs, how many outputs should be used? also,where is a good place to mount the diseqc s/w on the mount? thank you.

There is no reason for using the invacom lnbf if you are only using 1 receiver. You do not need a DiSEqC switch as you will only be using 1 of the L ports. Providing I know what lnbf you are attempting to describe. As to general knowledge the DiSEqC switch should be mounted between the lnbf and the motor. Mine is actually at the bottom of the pole (15') with coax running down to it and then back up again to the motor.

I use the same LNB because it gives me the ability to watch NASA on 119, which is circular.

Hello Everyone:
I am a newbie. I purchased a Mercury 2 motorized package. I sent an sg2100 back for repairs and got a DS280 motor instead. When I tried to mount the dish to the motor I found that the bar was too big in diameter. I contacted Sadoun and they sent me a universal mounting bracket. It is a box containing 6 metal pieces and about 35 bolts and nuts. NO INSTRUCTIONS! Does anyone have any information as to how to build the bracket or what to do now? The old motor SG2100 fit just fine.
My system is new and never been up and running since I bought it in Dec 2007.
