Entering New Frequencies to the Satellite Receivers

    Dear Brothers,

Re: STAR SAT Digital Satellite Receiver, model (SR-X50CU ULTRA)

I have bought a digital satellite receiver, STAR SAT, model (SR-X50CU ULTRA); the user’s manual attached is so poor and does not tell almost every thing.
Would you please be so kind and answer my below question:
“In case I receive a new frequency number and/or sr number for an absent channel, then how can I enter those parameters in my receiver? In the user’s manual (page 15, section 5-1-3: transponder Setup) I read: <In this mode you can modify and adjust Transponder values…> but the information as you may notice too, are neither enough nor understandable. Please tell me the process of entering new frequencies in details and step by step, so that I may understand it thoroughly.”

Thanking you In advance, and remain,

    Sincerely yours,

I am unfamilar with your model receiver, so I cannot help you directly. All receivers can be adjusted, so you may have to tinker with it. I did find the company's website. You can try to email them your question or enlist their technical support on the links provided below. Good luck.
