That is all you should be receiving with a FTA receiver on a DN sat. Try pointing the dish at a non DN sat and see what you get. To receive DN programming you need a DN receiver, circular lnbf and a subscription to DN. FTA is Free To Air, this is unscrambled signals (hence the advertising channels). If you are looking for English programming 123 is about the best choice (most channels) for Ku. Go to

technical support and look for stationary dish (you do not list a motor) setup. There are calculators there for your dish elevation, skew & azimuth based on your location. Get lined up on 123 and scan. You should end up with about 45 or so channels in which about 22 or 23 are in English.
