I am planning for an fta setup, am curious what others are using for digital recording. I currently use pvr software called gbpvr with a hauppage mpeg capture card, and I use the hauppage media mvp for playback (set top network-aware mpeg decoder). I would like to know what others are doing with fta systems, specifically controlling the receiver channel changes. Currently I use the IR "blaster" that came with my mpeg capture card. Do most receivers come with rudimentary scheduling? Can they loaded with schedules? Are the IR codes available to make channel changes on the packages sold at
