Dw Tv

I have a question regarding DW TV on the Atlantic bird located at 58W. Why is it required to have a 8' dish? The standard 30" dish wouldn't work from Ohio? Thanks

Not sure.. but in any case - i think you are talking about "PAS 9 at 58.0°W"

Maybe someone else can help you with the answer....

[EDIT] - Actually .. sorry .. i DO know why you d need a larger dish..

I just noticed.. those German channels there are located at C Band.. (and NOT at KU band.. ) - so for C band - a larger dish is needed:

"3840 H" (the tp those are on) = C Band...

DishNEt

If you want DWTV you can go Big Dish and get it FTA, but DishNetwork offers DWTV as an add on for 9.99 per month.

DW also shows up fairly regularly in the evenings on New York Network's Channel 2 (AMC5 79°W 12182 H 23000-3/4). I don't know if this is an ongoing thing, but it's frequent enough that I added the channel to my "favorites". The program is in English, though; if you're looking for Deutsch, das tut mir leid.
