IntelSat channels, but problems with Dish TV reception

Hi

I am new to the area of watching european channels in the US. I would like to catch few Macedonian, Serbian, Croatian channels. I discovered that A1, the macedonian channel is on Intelsat (info on frequency can be found here http://www.lyngsat.com/i1002.html 4th from last).

Here is the kicker thou. I did had problems viewing Dish TV in my house last year due to some trees that are in front of my house. I want to say I could not watch 119 satelite, but I am not sure (I know Fox Soccer Channel I could not watch).

Could I still catch these European channels altough I had problem with this satelite? I have a Dish tv already mounted on my house, so by plugging in a receiver will it work, or will I have to re-adjust the dish a good bit?

no luck these channels are spot beamed to europe and north africa.

A friend 10 min from my house can see all of these channels.

thats great what size dish is he using because lyngsat show these as being spot beamed?
