Hispasat 1C and Intelsat 1A 13

Hello,

I'm a newbie on all this and need some help.

I've just purchased a receiver from the internet and a really nice antenna from Sadoun.

I wanted to get RTVE from Tampa FL and wanted to find out what are the coordinates to align my antenna to the Hispasat 1 C and Intelsat 1A 13 satellites. (I want to know both, since RTVE has different channels both the satellites.

They (RTVE) list both satellites in their website, although they do not give the azimouth nor elevation needed for the antenna. Any other information would also be greatly appreciated

Thanks.

Emilio.

What kind of dish do you have? RTVE on IA13 is on C-band and you will need a big dish. Also TVE and most of the channels seem to be encrypted. On Hispasat, TVE is encrypted, but some other stations are free to air.

I have the TVE receiver SR-3320, and I have just bought a 90U Fortec 36" Ku offset dish.

Please let me know.

With that dish you should definately be able to get channels on Hispasat. I really don't know anything about the receiver so I can't help you there.

Good luck.

Hispasat is not listed, but you can enter 30 in the box where it says 97 by default. Select your city or enter your longitude/latitude and it will give you coordinates.

Antenna 3

You would have to subscribe to it. The sound is normally clear, but the image requires subscription.
