It has been a while since I have been able to find the time to visit the Sadoun web-site.

Our main goal when encrypting HRT’s Picture of Croatia and Voice of Croatia a little over a year ago (March 1st, 2005) was to develop an ever growing subscriber base throughout North America which would eventually generate enough revenues through the monthly subscriptions to cover the cost of the entire operation…by March 1st, 2008; guaranteeing the future of the HRT international broadcast for many more generations to come.

To achieve this goal; we planned on using a portion of the monthly subscription revenues to improve the programming in order to provide our viewers with the best, most attractive HRT programming; resulting in happy satisfied customers which would tell all their Croatian-American friends and family about the wonderful Croatian programming available in America – directly from Croatia!

Instead; we found ourselves over the past 12 months spending the majority of our time and resources trying to resolve the ongoing problems (mainly technical) related to our current service provider (GlobeCast). I.e. Access denied, video & audio problems, poor picture quality, loss of signal, service interruptions, etc…

We have tried over the past several months to work with GlobeCast to address and resolve these technical issues…with little or no results. After carefully evaluating all our options, we are happy to inform you that HRT-America has found a new home in the sky called Home2US. www.home2usa.com

Starting on the 1st of May 2006, HRT’s Picture of Croatia and Voice of Croatiawill be available on a new satellite platform (AMC-4) at 101° west longitude.

This entire transition will be managed by HRT-America and will be FREE of charge for all current subscribers; including repointing of your existing satellite system by a professional installer (from 97 to 101 degrees), a new satellite receiver with remote control and a new authorized smartcard.

The programming will be available on both satellite platforms until the 1st of July 2006….allowing 60 days for you to move with us to the new satellite platform. During this time you will receive a call from a HRT-America representative to answer any questions or provide additional information.

On the new satellite platform; you will be able to enjoy even more Croatian programming from your homeland with the addition of the Croatian Music Channel! CMC is a 24 hour non–stop Croatian music program intended for everyone who loves Croatian music. I think this is a very good move. Will this improve the picture quality (although I am not a subcriber, I am only going by picture quality when HRT was free on IA5).

WOW! You are bringing CMC!!! Way to go!!

I have couple of questions:

1. World Cup in Croatian? Sweet!! Is it going to cost anything extra for this or it's part of the subscription?

2. What about Picture of Croatia going 24x7? It really needs to go that route if you want me to subscribe.

It says in the post that it will be free (with subscription I assume).
