portuguese tv rtpi

I have installed a 30" inch dish, and i have a fortec 4 lifetime ultra but i cant get rtpi. Works with pansat. HELP the frequency keeps tuning in and out. Freq12169,Horz,3.003 Ms/s

Yup, the signal is pretty weak on that transponder lately. I just checked it on a 39" dish here in Toronto and the quality is 15% :mozilla_surprised: . It used to be stronger. Hopefully it will be back to a higher signal strength soon.

Thanks for the reply, I don,t believe the signal was weak i had over 75% level and quality it just would not lock in kept coming in and out so i could not do a scan for chanels. #-o . If it was low how can the pansat lock it up and the fortec can't :mozilla_frown:

That's because different receivers have different tuners; some are more sensitive than others. Looks like your Pansat has a better tuner section. The signal is really weak on that transponder right now. Give it some time and it should get back to normal.

I have coolsat and signal is always about 70-72%. with 33" dish and universal lnb.

It comes in with about 49-50% quality in Minnesota.

I had to manually enter it in under "Advanced Scan" to get it to come up on my Fortec, but after that it's been just fine.
