English / French FTA channels in the USA

Anyone know of any English (from England) or French (from France) tv channels available as FTA in NA? C or KU band does not matter.

If you know of any, please sepcify;

We get this question often and it would be nice to find out.

none as far as i know for ku... i dunno about C band.

None of above specific channels are on KU in NA.
I will suggest even if anybody have an idea or heard about getting them in the future.

That's what I thought, but would appreciate it if someone finds anything to post it here. It is too bad that these two countries don't have any FTA channels in NA.
