BSC621--C/Ku digital LNBF

Intelsat 806 o NSS806? Porque tengo NSS806 y usar un BSC621-2 sin problemas. Lo siento para mi Espanol

BSC621--C/Ku digital LNBF

Disculpa amigo but is there any diference between these two LNBF to get the chanels from every satellite? Like I said before: I am only able to get NSS 806 with BSC621. Could you explain me how to use it to get the rest of the satellites like Intel 9, or Satmex 5 (C/Ku band) Wich one works better: BSC621 or BSC621-2. Thank you and pardon my english.

the main difference is one is a standard lnbf 10750 LO where the other is a universal lnbf 9750/10600 LO. the bsc-621-2 is the universal one it will get the freq below 11700.

OK there is a BSC621-2 and a BSC621-2C. I find no listing for a BSC621. The BSC621-2 is a universal lnbf (Ku) C band is just C band. The BSC621-2C is a Standard lnbf for Ku. If you are receiving NSS806 @ 40.5 than you are using the plate that came with the lnbf. That plate is for circular signals. To get other sats that are linear you would need to remove the plate.

I prefer the universal lnbf's for usage over the Atlantic. Either will work just fine in North America. The sats over the Atlantic have a tendancy to work in the lower ranges which is where the universal works best. So to see SatMex5 just rotate the dish to Satmex5, remove the plate and scan it in. Do you have the lnbf setup as 2 coax lines coming off or a single with the jumper that was supplied when you bought it?

LNBF C/Ku band

Thank you Rainman, thank you Elgemcdlf. Yes, I got the jumper for that LNBF. If you think the BSC621-2 works better I will change it. To give you a better idea: I am using a 10' mesh dish with a Pansat 2500. Will I get able to get both bands? (C/Ku). I'd been using an old Cband Lnb and an old Ku band each separate and I get most of the satellites but with a poor quality. I want to eliminate the cables and improve the signal. Thanks again.

you should have no problem with the C or KU bands.

You are currently receiving 40.5 with a feedhorn & c band lnb? Switching from that will most likely drop signal not increase it unless your lnb's are about dead. I bought mine because 40.5 is a C band circular sat and it was an inexpensive way to pick up circular c band. If you are not that interested in 40.5 I would keep the current feedhorn configuration and work on alignment of the dish is you are having signal problems.
