Want Dish HD

I want a stand alone vip622. What antenna and switch do I need. I ave a Dish 500 with 2 510's and a 301. They want to give me a dish 1000 to run all four tvs 3sd 1hd. I was told the 1000 will have low signal. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

The dish1000 will give good signal for 110 & 119 just as good as your existing dish. The Dish1000 is required for the MPEG4 VOOM HDTV channels on 129.

Are you going to replace any of your receivers with the ViP622?

You will need to order a DPP44 switch and 3x DPplus separators.

Depending on your location, the 129 satellite may be low.
Unless you want your locals in HD (and only a few markets are available right now) I would go with 2 dishes
Dish500 at 110/119
Dish300 (or 2nd 500) at 61.5

Much stronger signals and the National HD is on both 61.5 & 129
