Pre paid work with exsisting equipment ?

I am a part time resident in my home _ ( winter only ) .

I own and have a DN 301 receiver.

I canceled my subscription to Dish for at the time they did not have a monthly package.

? - question

Can I purchase just the paid card for monthly programing to use with my existing equipment ? or do I need as to re purchase a complete reciever package ?
