Smile Dish 500 Fade Out

I live in southwest Fla. Rain and cloud fade is common here.
I run a dish 500 with dual LNBF lagacy system two receivers.
I have some extra dish 500 dishes. I was thinking about putting a second Dish up with One Dual LNBF on each. Setting the skew to zero (dish straght up) get max reflection to the LNBF. Put on dish on 119 and the other on 110.
Do you think I will gain more signal this way.

I was also looking at two Fortec Star 31'' dishes (put one on 119 and the other on 110) but I was worried that my Dual LNBF's would not mount
since this dish does not have a D channel feed arm.

Thanks
John

going to 2 dishes is always the better option because you can fine tune the dish to only one satellite, instead of compensating for 2 satellites

Yes you csan go with 2 31" dishes (although depending on package, you may only need it for one satellite). I had a 24" for 119 and a 18" for 110 (I had AT60+ locals so 110 was only needed for my locals).

As to the LNB, easiest thing to do is the LNB holders will accept a 40mm LNB (normal KU LNB) but also has an adapter for a 20mm LNB. I busted the case off my LNB and the LNB fit right in there with the 20mm adapter
