Dear DISH Network Retailer,
We’re happy to announce the launch of the new International Promotional Program, effective April 6, 2006 through June 30, 2006. The International Promotional Program is a new promotion that can be used to target customers who want DISH Network International programming, but may not have been able to previously qualify for it. Moreover, it can provide you with the opportunity to potentially expand your business with additional revenue-generating markets.
There are two ways new eligible residential customers can qualify under this new International Promotional Program – one in which customers provide their Social Security Number (SSN) or equivalent, and one in which the customer does not. Should they provide their SSN or equivalent, new subscribers may be eligible to receive monthly credits to offset their applicable equipment purchases.
Please make sure to select either the "International No SSN" or the "International SSN Required" option under the New Customer Promotions dropdown menu in the Promotions Center. In addition, the applicable promotion code must be provided to the Customer Service Representative at the time of account activation:
RINTLSSN1RCVR for a one-receiver system WITH SSN; RINTLSSN2RCVR for a two-receiver system WITH SSN; and, RINTL0SSN for a one- or two-receiver system WITHOUT SSN.
How does the new International Promotional Program work?
The new DISH Network customer who wants International programming buys a one-receiver system for $149.99 or a two-receiver system for $199.99. - - Eligible systems under this program are limited to new or reconditioned model 301 or 311 receivers, and include a free standard professional installation.
The new customer subscribes to an International programming package priced at $14.99 per month or higher (including Great Wall TV Package). Please keep in mind that programming packages cannot be combined to reach the $14.99 per month minimum. - - Customers under this program CANNOT subscribe to DishFAMILY, AT60 (or higher), DishLATINO (or higher), Dish HD (or higher), DishLATINO HD Bronze (or higher), or any higher qualifying programming packages.
- - Eligible customers CAN elect to purchase a local networks DMA package where available and if they qualify.
- - A monthly Service Access Fee of $6.00 is applied to all customer accounts under this promotion (excluding Great Wall TV Package).
For customers who provide a SSN or equivalent, should they purchase a one-receiver system, they may be eligible to receive up to 30 monthly credits of $5.00 (total of $150.00); should they purchase a two-receiver system, they may be eligible to receive up to 40 monthly credits of $5.00 (total of $200.00). - Subscribers under the International Promotional Program who do not provide an SSN or equivalent are NOT eligible to receive monthly credits to offset their purchase of applicable equipment.
