I have a Dish 500Pro with Pro Twin LNB, as well as a Legacy dish with a Legacy LNB; and I was wondering what switch I should buy to hook the two dishes together and connect it to legacy receiver 3100
The cheapest way is to buy a legacy twin to replace the dishpro twin, Use that on your Dish 500 then use the legacy duel on the other dish...Take one cable off each Lnb to a legacy 21 switch, then from the switch to your receiver.
You can use all dishpro lnbs but you would need a Dp Adapter to make the dishes work with your receiver, adapters cost more.
