Odd and Even Transponders

I have a dish network super dish collecting the 121, 119,110 satellites.Going into a Spaun DMS51602 multi switch, Then thru a Diplexer. I am not getting any even transponders only odd. Even when I seperate the satellites from the multi switch going directly to the receiver nothing changes. I checked all the cables, There fine. I did have to replace the 119 LNB. But nothing changed.

Are you getting odd transponders on all 3 lnb's or just one? If it is on all 3 then it is in the switch. If you are getting it on only one or 2 then it is an lnb problem. Is the 119 getting all trsp now that you changed the lnb?

Odd and Even Transponders

Sorry it took so long to reply. I am getting only odd on all three. Bypassing the switch doesn't resolve the problem either. 119 is still only receiving odd transponders with the new LNB. The cabling was checked and rechecked to ensure it wasn't a bad cable or connector.

Hey Darrell. I had a similar issue with my standard dual LNB setup. The issue wound up being a bad female-to-female wall pass thru. I changed cables, LNB's, and almost considered changing the end-connectors on all my cables before deciding to change the wall mount pass-thru. Obviously, I'm not sure if this is your issue, but it is worth a try. Good luck.

Vinnie

Problem resolved...we think

After going through four LNB's, checking and rechecking cables, ensuring all components were Dish Network Compatible (I called the manufacturer on every device) we decided to re-call every manufacturer just to make sure. According to Blonder Tongue the Rack Mount Receiver CDSR-6198 is Dish Network Compatible. With this most recent call, we got lucky, the tech knew there are two versions of the CDSR 6198, one with the DishPro Logo and one without. We are ordering 14 more receivers with the DP logo. I'll let you know how it turns out. Darrell[/u]

I am sorry Darrell but the DP34 only lets vertical tp pass through. You can't get Horiz tp with it whatever you do if you are using dpro lnbs.
