Subscription and Free to air setup

I would like to know if I can use a splitter to be able to get my subscription dish network channels and to get the free to air channels? If so can you give me an example of the setup?

You can't use a splitter but you can use a multiswitch or simply run the cable from the dish into the IF IN on your FTA receiver and then another cable from the IF OUT to your Dishnetwork receiver. The kind of multiswitch you need depends on the type of dish you have and number of LNBs.

Setup of 110 and 119 with disqc switch

I am also having trouble with setting up the disqc switch. It will pick up 110 when I send it straight to the receiver but when I try to connect 110 and 119 with the disqc switch(also tried the sw21) I don't get a signal. I have the dish network dish for the dish 500.

For the menu setting I set 110 to lnb1 and 119 to lnb2.

There is nothing free to watch on those satellites anyways... get a 30" dish and go after some real FTA like on IA5 or AMC4.
