Strange problem :DVR522

Hi, I have a new dvr522 and old IRD 4900. I am getting signal from sat 121 and 119.The signal on the ird 4900 strong for both sat 121&119 ( about 90+). But the signal on the new dvr522 is strong for sat119 but for sat121 is not stable at all, up and down very fast and many times doesn't locked. keep in mind i used the same cable to test both IRD's. the picture on the DVR522 thru sat121 is very poor and with lost of interruption in signal, but the picture on the sameIRD dvr522 thru sat119 is perfect.
I did so many Check switch, I got for port 1 & 2 this: satellite 119 &121. Trans: ok & ok. Device : nothing . Status: Reception verified. Switch: SW21. Also the superdish is checked.
I am using dual kuLnb for sat121 and another dual lnb for sat119. As I said early the signal is fine on my old IRD4900. Why not good on the new DVR522, please let me know because i am paying for the subscription and dvr fee and not usefull to me as is.
Thank you

It could be that your signal on 121 is below the threshold og the 522 but good enough for the 4900. Some tuners are more sensitive than others. Try optimizing your Superdish alignment specially for 121.

Make sure the Superdish box is checked when you do check switch.

I have done many of these type setups, with same results as you at first.
As a test I tried an sw21x combined with an sw21. For a three sat setup, 119,110,121.
I checked off superdish and alternate. It counted very slowly to 50 but it worked great every time. Since you are not using 110 eliminate sw21 and 110 from above.
Another question I have is I am almost positive a 522 is a dual tuner receiver(correct me if wrong) which needs 2 feeds from dish, and with the setup you described how are you feeding the 4900?

Also a sw21x is not made by dishnetwork, Microroyal is the only one
I know of that makes that type. I find there product is just as good as dishnetwork originals, but that’s my opinion.

The 121 satellite is a fss satellite not a dbs so a regular lnb wont work it has to be a fss (kulnbf wont work for the 121).You dont have to have the superdish checked for the setup you are tring to use only if you are looking at 3 satellites at the same time. The easiest thing for to do is get a superdish as this would allow you to look at all 3 satellites 119,110,121 and it would also allow you to have use of both sides of 522 dual tuner and be able to hook up the 4900 with a dish pro adapter

Call Customer Service 1800 333 3474 and check if the international channel that you are looking for, came in the 61.5 Satellite , and tried with the 21 switch.
( you can't use a dual lnb to get the 121 satellite )if you want that satellite you need a superdish 121 and a dp 34 switch to get the three sat. 119,110,121.
the 522 is a dual tuner receiver. you need two sat lines if you are using the 522 for two tv , if not you need only one line for one tv.
